The ever growing industrialization, the unhindered population growth, massive urbanization have all increased the fire risks to a great extent. Indian fire protection wing is facing tremendous challenges and heavy, responsibilities. Today the firefighting industry is worth Rs. 1500 crore annually and according to estimates it will be five times within a decade. This has created many fold demand of trained human resources and equipment.
